Music Education Professional Development Program

Loyola University New Orleans College of Music and Fine Arts Music Education Department will offer FREE monthly masterclasses to area public, private, and parochial music educators on a variety of topics important to strengthening music's place in the school curriculum.

• To provide convenient instruction regarding Content Standards in Music
• Create an environment for discussion regarding effective strategies of instruction and assessment
• Foster a network of support between area schools and the university to support new teachers
• Establish objectives for strengthening music's place in the school curriculum.
