of Music Business

“Loyola provided me with skills that I put to use on a daily basis in the variety of music industry functions I’m required to perform. The personalized attention I received from the faculty helped achieve my educational and personal growth goals.”

Music Business

The Music Business Program has developed an innovative curriculum designed to prepare students for today's music industry. As an alternative to a strictly traditional music degree program, the College of Music offers two tracks in music business. The bachelor of music degree with music business emphasis is designed for the performing musician, while the bachelor of science degree in music business is designed for the business student with limited performing experience. Both degrees combine a flexible liberal arts curriculum with emphasis in many areas, along with music industry related courses and experiences. A goal of the program is to prepare well-rounded graduates who are ready to be the leaders of tomorrow’s music industry.

Music Business Club (Loyola's MEISA Chapter)

The Music Business Club serves as Loyola’s chapter of the Music and Entertainment Industry Student Association (MEISA), which is the student affiliate of Music and Entertainment Industry Educators Association (MEIEA). The club is an educational forum organized to allow students to participate in professional activities by promoting interaction between its members and industry professionals.
