Music Performance - Instrumental

New Orleans' wealth of professional performing organizations, including the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, make Loyola a logical choice for the aspiring instrumental performer. Loyola draws its artist faculty from professional organizations and major universities. All performance students are guaranteed the opportunity to study privately with Loyola's artist faculty.

In addition, Loyola students frequently participate in master classes with prominent visiting artists and renowned expert pedagogues.

The annual Concerto-Aria Competition affords upper division students the chance to perform with the Loyola Symphony Orchestra via a highly competitive audition process that performance majors are likely to encounter in their professional careers.
